Tools & Gear: What’s Worth Using and What You Can Skip
You don’t need a lot of gear to knit well. A decent pair of needles and some yarn will get you surprisingly far. But the right tools at the right time can make knitting more comfortable, less fiddly, and a lot more enjoyable.
The tricky part is that knitting tool advice is everywhere and most of it reads like a shopping list. This page is different. Everything here is something I’ve actually used, and I’ll tell you what worked, what didn’t, and what I reach for regularly.
Your setup will look different from mine. That’s fine. Start with the basics, add things as you need them, and ignore the rest.
